Welcome to the Sevenoaks & District Dog Training Society

We have been training dogs since 1963 and offer fun, positive reward based training for puppies, adult dogs as well as rescue dogs. We welcome all breeds and ages of dogs and owners! We are based in Sevenoaks, Kent and our training classes include puppy lifeskills courses, basic lifeskills training and agility training.

We also operate the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Companion Dog Awards for those people who have come through our Basic Lifeskills Courses.

All of our instructing team have many years experience in kind, fair and effective dog training. One is a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a full time behaviourist. So we are well places to help and advise on all aspects of modern science based dog training.

TRAINING FOR ALL!

We offer classes for puppies, adolescent and adult dogs of all breeds. We also offer agility courses from foundation to competition! Come and join us - fun, fair and effective training for all!

Lifeskills for Puppies

This is a five week course covering all aspects of puppy development and training and based on the most up to date research / training into puppy development. For pups no more than 14 weeks at the start of the course.

We offer a 6 week basic lifeskills course which is suitable for adults and adolescent dogs from the age of about 5 months

Agility

The club offers agility training at all levels, from beginner to advanced and all breeds – small, medium and large dogs. We offer Foundation Courses when space allows.
